Anaglyph Photography and Breakout

Hey there. Found out that my cam has 3D photo settings, tried to test it out. Still a bit hard on the eyes, works best on tiny size.

These days I started developing my first proper game in a while.
Chose to go for a breakout clone.
That was the progress after 2 days, had pretty much all basic functions working.
Some minor tweaks on the performans have to be done still but it works fluently.
Going to add more features, but first I wanted to get rid of the prototypeness and add some visuals to it.


Started with some wood and stone and nature stuff.
But I found it to be really boring. Who would want to play this? I wouldnt...
But I was lacking better ideas.
But then I came up with that tron kind of thing.
Maybe it is a metaphoric way to portray the tasks of a firewall or whatever.
Had some neat gameplay ideas on the way.


Was impatient again and put that idea into unity without further hesitation.
Tweaked the screen in photoshop though because the whole style won't work well without proper bloom lol.
Don't have money to buy a pro version just now, so I have to think of something clever without image effects. ^^

Going to bed now, updates soon, I try!

Thundergod Battles - Game Announcement and first Promo Art(WALLPAPERS!)

Hello reader,

I am currently working on the game art of "Thundergod Battles" by Forthright Entertainment [Link].
We decided to announce the game now, but we are already deep within production and it is not long until the release.

Thundergod Battles is a matching game for the iOS, Windows Phones and Android and scheduled for Fall 2013. More information about the game will be released bit by bit during the next few weeks via our Facebook Page: [Link]

What I can already tell you that this is a really fun project to work on and I really enjoy making the graphics. I am putting a lot of effort into them to create a unique and pleasant gaming experience.

So tired.

No sleep last night.
They repaired the street in front of the window.

Couldnt concentrate much, but I took the time after work to block out the level geometry.

Unity Dungeon Environment Progress 140513


Woah, I am tired.
But had 4 hours of awesomeflow.

Going to rest now, so late.

Finished the doorway and blocked out some room shapes.
Added candles and played a bit with the light settings.


 




Hope you like it.
Sorry for the colorfulness. I am stillplaying around and put down some ideas.

Next will probably be some more Assets or a Character to walk around and maybe an enemy.

But not till tomorrow.
That'd be suicide.
Quality before quantity.
